Recently we have traveled through some Morgan history from the mid-1950's, courtesy of Western Livestock Journal. Prior to that, we traveled through 1982 in The Morgan Horse Magazine. Now we jump up to 2002. In just 20 years from 1982 to 2002, the look of the show ring Morgans has changed, both in their actual physical look and in how they are presented.
Also in this issue, it can be seen that the Sport Morgan movement was gaining momentum and strength. I shall be presenting items from both worlds as we travel through this first issue of 2002 and then more issues from this year which I shall jump back and forth from 1982 issues to 2002 issues. Our past IS our present.
