Bred in Washington state, his sire was also bred in Washington from two Gov't bred horses.
Keystone's dam, Redlass, was bred in California and was sired by Redman (featured yesterday). Her dam was Brunk.
Keystone sired 51 registered get. Many of them carried the Keystone's prefix, but he also had outside mares. One of his sons, Montey Vermont, sired 50 registered get, many of those for Beckridge Morgans. Moco Vermont was a son of Montey Vermont and he sired 14 get.
Golden Deb was a daughter of Keystone and she had 10 foals. One of her foals was Vintage Midnight Son who was sire of Sir Danes Sire Storm, who sired so many for Vintage Morgans and also Westwind Storm who has sired many.
Many of Keystone's daughters who had the Keystone's prefix went on to good producing careers.
There are horses today who have Keystone back in their pedigrees.
