His sire was the California bred Tehachapi Allan who stood in Kansas for the Remount Service at the ranch of Elmer Brown. The dam of Laddy Allan, Lady Patch was bred in Kansas but was by another California bred stallion, Colonel Patch. Her dam was bred by Elmer Brown. Returning to Flaxy Allan, her dam was Ruth Knox, bred in Nebraska by Robert Tynan who did not breed a lot of Morgans but bred some very good ones. Many of his, as is Ruth Knox, were sired by the Brunk Agazizz. The dam of Ruth Knox, was Rozel who was bred by Elmer Brown.
This mare had a strong pedigree of using Morgans.
She was dam of 10 foals.

Hi-Mist Cindy. The Morgan Horse Magazine, July 1971

Her sire was full Lippitt and her dam was Brunk.
She had some foals. One of them was the sire, Thunderbay. (Although of the photos I have seen of Thunderbay over the years, I can not see any influence from her.)
This photo makes me sad as she is so very inverted with hollow back and cranked up neck (look at the muscles on the underside compared to the top of the neck) and thus is dragging her hocks. I do see good conformation on her in this photo though.

Orlaines Breezy. The Morgan Horse Magazine, July 1971

She had some great California bloodlines.
She had two daughters, Bonnie Breeze and Oronna Breeze, who had lines of descent into this century, but it all seems to have ended by now.

Skagit Toketie. The Morgan Horse Magazine, July 1971

Bred in Washington by Cape. Louise Bates who bred many good ones with her Skagit prefix.
This mare's sire was also bred by Bates. Her dam was bred by E W Roberts, Calif.
She had some foals and some bred on somewhat.

Kid sired many Morgans who were used in various breeding programs.

Twin-Ida Major Ken. The Morgan Horse Magazine, July 1971

He was bred in Idaho by M/M Jesser. Both his parents were bred by Jackson Ranch, MT.
He sired 7 get.

Gay's Cinco De Mayo. The Morgan Horse Magazine, July 1971

He had an excellent pedigree.
His sire was the very good, Moro Hill Gay Ethan, Full Lippitt, and a proven sire in his own right. Gay Ethan's sire, Dyberry Ethan, was also a proven sire, and the sire line continues on back with proven sires.
Cinco's dam was from good California breeding that went back to Richard Sellman of Texas, Roland Hill of California, W P Thornhill of Texas, Elmer Brown of Kansas, and some good Old Midwest lines (Anndy Pershing).
He was the sire of many in Canada--
and his descendants can be found today.

I like his conformation and breed type.

Western Livestock Journal. Feb, 1936

An interesting little snippet from the Western Livestock Journal of Feb. 1936. The first part is at the bottom of the last column on the first page shown; it then continues to the next page at the top of the first column.
I show here the entire pages, even though there is no further Morgan news, just for the fun of it.
