Townshend Vigildawn. Townshend Morgan Farm Pamphlet

This is a great photo. Way back in the day, the English Pleasure class also required that the horse show it can jump a low jump. And the rider was using the standard flat Saddleseat saddle, not a jumping saddle.
Her dam was mostly Brunk breeding but also had a line to Gov't and a line to Old Midwest Family.
She had some foals.
The photo below is from the AllBreed site and shows the versatility of this lovely mare.

His pedigree is mostly Western Working Family, with some Brunk, and a bit of Old Midwest.

Edelweiss Magic Man. The Morgan Horse Magazine, Feb 1984

He did have a lot of Gov't breeding, but he also had Brunk, Lippitt, Old Vermont, Old Midwest, and a touch of Western Working Family.
I saw him and really liked him. He was typey, correct, good temperament. I hoped to breed a mare to him but it was in the early days of semen transport and it just was not going to happen.
He sired 121 get with many used in breeding with lines to today.

Springbrook Sam. The Morgan Horse Magazine. 1951

{Note--this link takes you to the correct pedigree. Some careless person did a pedigree for him listing his dam as a 1982 Arabian. SIGH)
His sire was of the Old Midwest Family. His dam was Lippitt.
He looks to have been quite a versatile horse.
