It is interesting to read the memories. However, the entry in Registry Volume 3 for Headlight Morgan reads:

failed June 24, 1893, bred by the Morgan Horse Co., Carpentersville, Ill. Sold to Mrs. Margaret C Parks, Englewood, Kan., to Mrs D Skinner,, Meade Kans., by whom registered.
