Red Flash. The Morgan Horse Magazine, April 1971

Bred in California, he was pure Sellman blood. His sire was bred in California by F A Fickert, using the Sellman horses he imported from Texas.
He had a rare sire line back to Bulrush. Sadly, this sire line has died out. But Red Flash can be found in today's pedigrees through his daughters.
He had 33 registered get with 16 of them having at least one progeny of their own.
The Red Flash daughters from his time spent at the Jackson Ranch in Montana come down to today in the Mortana prefix horses from the Jackson ranch.
The son of Red Flash, Rhed's Fable, had the daughter, Fairylady by Rhed, who is dam of many Indiana prefix Morgans.
The well known show horse and sire, Simply Maserati, has Red Flash behind him through his dam. He is a great-greatgrand son of Red Flash.
