DJJJ Ebony Gold. TMH. August 2001

A solid pedigree of Morgans bred to work.
I saw, back in the day, the video of his Stallion Test. He was an impressive horse.
I wish that more of his progeny bred on to today.

Lippitt Georgiana. TMH. July 2001

This very long article is well worth reading.
(Perhaps it is too long. But I can say that because I wrote it! There was a lot of ground to cover here. This is almost more of an overview because I could have said a lot more about many of these horses.)

The first three photos do none of the horses any justice. This group of photos was taken in 1952 for Knight's first dispersal sale. The magazine editor chose them because they were the most readily available.

Written in 2001, many of these lines continue on strongly. Sadly, some have not.

At the very end, what I said about my Snubbers was true until the day she died. David Algranti was visiting recently and when I said "Snubbers!" he started to crack-up. Yeah, she was like that.

Canequin's Look Out, Morgans in Sport. TMH July 2001

This is a lovely pedigree with a good dose of close-breeding. It is worth taking a look at.
There is also a nice full body photo of him at this link.
