Tehachapi Allan was bred in California, bred by Roland Hill; he entered the Remount Service and went to Elmer Brown, Halstead, Kansas. He appears in this pedigree three times. Elmer Brown is behind much of this pedigree along with other notable Kansas breeders O E Sutter, H T Hineman, and the Heibert Bros.
She looks to have been an elegant, lovely mare with substance and depth.
