Bred by J. Cecil Ferguson, Phyldon was out of the good producing mare, Mansphyllis, who also was dam of Parade. Mansphyllis was out of the great producing mare, Paragraph, who came from a strong dam line of excellent producers.
Phyldon's sire was also a noted sire.
Behind Phyldon is Lippitt, Old Vermont High Percent, Brunk, and Gov't.
He sired at least 44 get, most in Canada.
Many of those had foals of their own.
