Beamington. The Morgan Horse Magazine. Jan/Feb 1971

Sire of 152 registered get.
One of the breed's greats.
A decent photo of him on the above link.
Read thru his progeny list.
His dam, Ellen Bar, was bred in Oklahoma at the Chilocco Indian School. Her dam, Elberty Linsley, was bred by Elmer Brown of Kansas. Elberty Linsley was sired by the great Linsley and out of another Elmer Brown mare, Dolly D, who was out of the Old Vermont High Percent mare, Donbelle, one of the breed's great producing mares. Dolly D's sire was Dude Hudson of the Old Midwest Family.
Barberry was the sire of Ellen Bar, and he was Brunk breeding.
Beamington's sire was the very good Mr. Breezy Cobra who sired 120 registered get and was a popular show horse. His sire was the Brunk bred The Airacobra of that excellent cross of Flyhawk to Sentola, a full sister to Jubilee King.
Mr Breezy Cobra's dam was Jenny Lake, bred by the LU Sheep Co. of Wy, but with plenty of Brunk behind her with her sire and the sire of her dam.
Beamington was bred to be great.
