This project shows amazing dedication and many hours to complete. One complaint about it back in the day was that it was only about the Morgan shows and did not include any other competitions. It must be noted that the necessary data was available only for rated Morgan shows. Hence, this sire rating is for sires of show horses at Morgan shows. It is interesting to see which stallions predominated at that time. How many of them can be found behind today's show horses? Also, note how many shows there were at that time. How many of those are still extant today? Times have certainly changed in the more than 40 years since this rating.
