Reata's Encore. The Morgan Horse Magazine, March 1971

The top photos is from TMH March 1971
The bottom photo is from the AllBreed site.

A pedigree with some good Brunk breeding from his dam who was 3/4th Brunk.
The maternal grand dam, Polly Forrest, was sired by an American Saddlebred, Forest Whirlwind. There is some Morgan behind Forest Whirlwind, but he mostly was early Saddlebred breeding with some Thoroughbred and early Standardbred.
The Jubilee King daughter, Katette, was bred to Forest Whirlwind to produce Polly Forrest. Polly Forrest was bred many times to various good Brunk stallions and had many produce that bred on, including the dam of Reata's Encore, Lovely Melody, who herself produced many breeding and show Morgans who have descendants today.
The sire of Reata's Encore was Fleetwing, a product of Merle D. Evans breeding program which was based on the Government Farm Morgans. Fleetwing was a noted sire.

Reata's Encore had 64 registered get. However, very little bred on.
