Digging into the depths of my file cabinet, I came across my very early Newsletters. How did this forerunner of what was to become Classic Morgan Admirers get started.
In early 1980, I asked The Lippitt Club for a list of California Club members. I then wrote a letter introducing myself and asking about each person and sent it off to the 12 or so members. I received replies from every one. From that came a little newsletter that grew and grew. By mid-1981, this was the result.
It was typed on a plain electric typewriter. You can see where White-Out was used and where I hand wrote late corrections. Very primitive!
There is some good stuff in here. It may be ancient news, but still of interest.
