Junefield. The Morgan Horse Magazine. Feb 1988

While she is of Government breeding, it is a pedigree that owes much to the Old Vermont High Percent Morgans: Artemisia; Lady Lyndon; Fanny 2nd; Ruth.
Foaled 1947 and bred by Keynith Knapp of Vt., this mare had 9 foals and has left a strong legacy in the breed.
Her foals:
--Jubilee June, 1942, by McAllister. Did not breed on.
--Dennisfield, 1953, by Dennis K. Sired a bit but nothing bred on.
--Denarden, 1954, by Dennis.K. Sire of Applevale and Saddleback prefix Morgans.
--MC La Senorita, 1961, by Shadow Hawk. Dam.
--Tarrytown, 1958, by Sealect of Windcrest. Sired some for Sugar Run and Applevale.
--Applevale Replica, 1966, by Pecos. Sire of many in the Midwest, including for Kerry and Cedarcrest prefixes, and some later in California.
--Applevale Medallion, 1961, by Pecos. Sire for Topside and Cambridge prefixes in Colorado.
--Applevale Monarch, 1962, by Pecos. Sire of many in New England, including for Robbi-Sue's.
--Kingston, 1957, by Upwey Ben Don. Sired 298 registered get for many different people. He had get with the Applevale, Acadias, Appleton, Baywind, Gladgays, Long Hill,  Mancunian, Mr. R's, Triton, Wawaywanda, and so many more. And ever so many of his get carried the Casland prefix.

Junefield comes down to today in many different places, but is most famous for her son Kingston.
