The Jack Davis who owned the palomino above was also the owner of Red Vermont, who was a very important sire in California. Red Vermont was also bred to palomino mares for Davis.
He was the sire of the good stallion, Sonoma, who did much for the Morrisons of Oregon. Read the information tab on the above link.
Sired only 7 registered Morgans and 2 registered Appaloosas.
His daughter, Fawnette, was the dam of Clovernette, who was dam of Bevi and California King, both good sires. California King had many get, including the prefixes of California, Impala, Windswept.
