Sparbeau. Western Livestock Journal 1938

Sire of 34 registered get.
Bred by Elmer Brown, Kansas, a premier breeder and a cornerstone of the Western Working Family.
His sire was the great Linsley, sired by General Gates and out of a Headlight Morgan daughter.
Sparbeau's dam was the Elmer Brown bred Sparbelle, dam of many good ones including Linspar who went to the LU Sheep Co of WY as one of their foundation stallions. Her sire had an Old Midwest Family sire. Her dam was Donbelle who was of the Old Vermont High Percent lines and one of Brown's foundation mares who was dam of ever so many good ones.
On the above link, there is the same picture as above, but an actual photo and better quality.

Sparbeau sired many who bred onwards, such as--
--Danspar, coming down to Raya De Luna
--Dude Spar, sire for Huniwell's Circle H ranch with lines to today
--Lula A, who had descendants with Skyridge and Rhed's prefixes
--Memphis Beau Brummell, sire of Shawalla Buck, a prolific sire in Washington
--Oretia Spar, dam of Ranchita Chief
--Princess Spar, dam of El Spartan, sire of Vining Lamar and many others.
--Princess Tonya, dam of many who bred on
--Starlight Lu, dam of Eco Lujo, sire of Eco Jubilo, good sire.
This is not an exhaustive list, but does hit the highlights. Many of his get were used by many different breeders.
