His sire was the very good working stallion and sire, Condo. (Click on his name on the pedigree and then look at the photo there.) Condo was Brunk with some darn good Brunk horses behind him.
Circle H was the prefix used by the Hunnewill Ranch of far east California and west Nevada. They bred Morgans for their ranch work. Caballero's dam was also Circle H. Her pedigree goes to the Elmer Brown bred Sparbeau; the rest of her pedigree is Roland Hill.
I love this story. lt reminds me of something I was told when I first got into Morgans--a Morgan never sees the end of the trail, always ready to keep going.
