Buglett. The Morgan Horse Magazine, circa late 1940s

Bred at Jackson Ranch, MT.
Foaled 1942.
His sire, Delbert, was bred at the US Range Station, Miles City, MT.  Delbert's sire, Revere, was bred by the US Gov't, VT. Revere also sired for Clark Ringling, NV. Delbert's dam was a Richard Sellman mare.
The dam of Buglett, Montana Bird, was by Chief Bugler and out of a daughter of that same stallion. Montana Bird was also bred at the Jackson Ranch. Chief Bugler was bred by the early Montana breeder, C X Larrabee and was used as the Jackson Ranch main stallion for many years. The dam of Montana Bird was Red Bird, also a Jackson Ranch product. And the dam of Red Bird, Mady, was also a Jackson Ranch product. This gave a long mare line bred at the same ranch. Mady's parents were Larrabee Morgans.
Buglett had only 3 registered get.
One of these was Katelette, who had daughters that bred on for some time at Jackson Ranch. There may be Mortana descendants today from Buglett.
