Blackman. The Morgan Horse Magazine, circa late 1940s

His sire, Rodman,   was bred by Wm. Hearst, San Simeon, CA. Redman, was 3/4 Richard Sellman horses and 1/4 Brunk. The dam of Redman was bred by Roland Hill (using a Sellman mare to the Brunk stallion.). 
Blackman's dam was bred by J C Brunk. 
Blackman had a great pedigree and he was bred by that excellent breeder, E W Roberts.
