His sire was the Lippitt stallion, Cornwallis.
His dam was Mansphyllis, bred by Francis Bryant; this mare was a good producing mare out of the good producing mare, the Brunk bred Paragraph, who was from a line of good producing mares. (Paragraph was also behind the sire of Spring Frolic.)
Besides siring 153 get, many of whom have descendants today, Parade toured with the Spanish Riding School of Vienna, won in the show ring, and was a general all-around good Morgan.
