{I have wondered if King Kookie was named for the popular character of Kookie on the TV show, 77 Sunset Strip. Who remembers the hit song, "Kookie, Kookie lend me your comb"? I was still very young but watched that show, although my favorite character was the one played by Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. }
