He has an interesting pedigree with some different Old Vermont lines.
He has a Gov't sire line with Knickerbocker's sire; Knickerbocker's dam was by Sealect and out of a Knox Morgan mare. Jumping down to the bottom mare line, we find a Lippitt mare who was by Sealect.
The paternal grand dam, Fire, had Lippitt, some different Old Vermont, then Lady Sealect who is also behind Knickerbocker.
The dam of Tinder Box was nearly all Brunk except for that Lippitt bottom mare line.
He sired 24 get, including some for Kennebec, and Tanglwood Tinderella who was dam for HyLind with some of those breeding on.
