From the yellow box--"This California photo gives us a glimpse of the fabulous scenery of the Monterey Peninsula. In the foreground, a Morgan gelding obviously enjoys the sound of the waves and the cry of the gulls."
This was the photo used on the cover of the Golden West Directory for many years.
From the blue box--"Scene from the 1969 premiere movie: "Silent Night, Lonely Night." starring Shirley Jones and Lloyd Bridges. The Morgan mare, Bobbin Hollow Golly, is owned by Woody Henry of Amherst, Mass."
She had foals, mostly for Bobbin Hollow. Some bred on some.
