His sire was Cornwallis. His dam was Hepatica. Thus, he was a full brother to the more famous Pecos. Hepatica was also dam of Lapatica, Seneca Sweetheart, and Sherimill Sunrise.
Hepatica was by the Gov't Monterey. Hepatica's dam, Isis, was strong in Black Hawk with some Gifford Morgan also.
