Ruthven's Kathryn Ann. Western Horseman Magazine, Sept. 1948
Owned by the Rexs; after he passed on, Frieda married Frank Waer. The mare then became a foundation mare for their program.
She was dam of:
--Waer's Cinco de Mayo, sire, including Waer's Samantha who was dam for Shadyshadow prefix; Waer's Linda Lou, who was dam for Ima and Lignite's prefixes; Waer's Sweet Talk, dam of Waer's Maestro.

Red Flash
His sire was bred by F A Fickert of Tehachapi, CA of pure Sellman stock.
His dam was bred by Sellman, Texas.

Red Flash comes down to us today only in a few mare lines.

Her sire was Lippitt and her maternal grand dam was High Percent Old Vermont. Her maternal grand dam was of Gov't stock but not bred by the Gov't.
She was a foundation mare for the Waer's breeding program.

Dean Mt. Bennfield. The Morgan Horse Magazine. July 1982
Panfield, his sire, was bred by the U S Gov't.
His dam, Sugar Star, was bred in California from stallions bred by Clark Ringling, NV, and mares from Roland Hill's program based on Richard Sellman, of Texas, mares. Sugar Star had an intensely inbred pedigree.

This is a lovely pedigree of Brunk, Lippitt, and Gov't. Note behind Squire Burger, the mare Liza Jane appears twice; she was a grand producing mare whose daughters and grand daughters were also grand producing mares.
Telstar was every inch a Morgan.
He sired 36 get in Canada and the US.

A Brunk & Western Working Family pedigree.
His dam, Ellen Bar, was bred by Chilocco Ag. School, Oklahoma. Ellen Bar was sired by Barberry who was bred by Helen Greenwalt. Ellen Bar's dam was bred by Elmer Brown, Kansas.
Senator Barr was sire of 101 registered get. Many were for Merriehill Farm. Many bred on.
