It seems that back in the day, there were Trophy horses everywhere--get, grand get and great great Gand get. Dayton Sumner does an excellent job here in this obituary. The importance of Trophy cannot be overstated, and he continues to have descendants today that carry on his traits. He sired 143 get; check out his progeny list here--
This is not a complete list; it is only those listed on the AllBreed site., but many of these have bred on.
He had a great Gov't pedigree with much of the Old Vermont blood close up. There were strong breeding horses behind him on all lines.
Trophy has been gone for well over 40 years now, but hopefully his memory lives on and his linage lives on.
