Regency Rain Check. The Morgan Horse Magazine, Jan. 1982

His maternal grand dam, Gypsy Allen, was a Calif. bred with her sire bred by W T Carter who bred many good Morgans that became important in many Calif. breeding programs. The dam of Gypsy Allen was bred in Nevada by Clark Ringling who has left a good legacy with his Morgans.
The rest of Rain Check's pedigree is Gov't with some Lippit and Old Vermont here & there.
He sired 36 get. Some bred on.
His breeder, Julia Rose, bred a lot of nice Morgans with her Regency prefix. She also was the breeder of Traveler who is shown in this ad with a head shot. There is a full body shot of him at this link--

[Sadly, I have to add that while the show ring picture of Rain Check shows a nice looking Morgan, that hind leg is way behind him and not where a balanced trot should be. He likely trotted fine when left alone but the high front action demanded in the show ring sometimes made for strung-out rear legs. ]
