Bred in California, her antecedents are from various states.
Her sire, Stormy H, was bred in Washington. Stormy H was by Sunshine R who was bred by Clark Ringling, Nevada. There is some good information on the Info icon on Sunshine R's pedigree page. The dam of Stormy H brings in more Revere from when he was at the U S Gov't Miles City station in Montana. When Revere left MT, he went to Ringling's ranch. Stormy H's bottom mare line goes to a Richard Sellman mare who was sold to the Miles City station after Sellman's passing. The maternal grand sire of Stormy H, Roosevelt, was a Thos. Adams bred from MT. All these horses came out of ranch breeding programs.
The dam of Tona, Opal's Jewel, brings in more of Ringlings breeding through her dam. Her mare line is California going back to Sellman. The sire of Opal's Jewel, David Rice Calvert, was bred by Roberts of HiPass in California. Calvert's dam was sired by Jack Sprat, bred in Kansas, and he has some good information on his Info icon on his pedigree page. Note that Clavert's sire was that very good stallion Blackman and behind him is a strong sire line of proven sires.
In all, Tona had a pedigree rich in the old ranch Morgans. It is truly a shame that so much of this wonderful heritage was allowed to die out.
