foaled 1944, bred by Thos. Adams, MT.
Adams was an important early breeder of Morgans in Montana.
The parents of Sun Dust as well as three of his grand parents were all bred by Adams. The 4th grand parent, Monterey, was a Gov't Farm Morgan standing at the Miles City, MT station.
On the sire side of Sun Dust, all four great grand parents were also bred by Adams.
Behind those great grand parents were many bred by C X Larrabee, MT, who bred many Morgans in Montana starting in the late 1890's.
Sun Dust sired 77 registered get. He was owned by Major Louise Bates, who used the Skagit prefix.
He sired for others also and has lines down to today.
