Blackhaux. Western Livestock Journal, March 1938

Bred by Duval Williams, also owner of Cuyamo who was featured also in Western Livestock Journal.
Blackhaux's parents were bred by Richard Sellman, TX.
Blackhaux had only 7 registered get.
One of these was Gold Dollar who sired so many Morgans for W T Carter's program. Many of those had Gold D in their names. Many of them bred onwards and there are lines to today.
Another Blackhaux son was Hedlite who sired many for the Cresta prefix and for Mary Smith's program, using the prefix of Hedlite. His daughter, Dolly S, was dam of Ramona Tomahawk, Ramona Redwing, Ramona Moonglow, and others. There are some lines today tracing back to Hedlite.
