Green Dream Figure

Foaled 1962.
His pedigree was Gov't, Lippitt, and Old Vermont.
The dam of his maternal grand dam was Little Troub, a mare by Willowmoor of Troubadour. Little Troub was out of Jemina, whose sire was a Hackney, and whose dam was out of a Morgan (Shelburne Maid by Holabird's Ethan Allen), and sired by an American Trotter (Standardbred). The following is from the AllBreed site about Jemina--"Brown, no markings. Foaled 1917, Shelburne, VT., bred by Dr. WS Webb. Progeny: 1 filly. Dr. Webb owned Matchless of Londesborugh-Turf and Field 1900 interview say he bred to Morgan mares." Matchless was the Hackney. Jemina was dam of Little Troub who had 2 foals of note: Lady Field who was dam for Bar-T and Deerfield prefixes and has many descendants today; and Echo Hill Farms Echobay, dam of Bambi, dam for Paramount's prefix, including Paramounts Emperor, thus having many descendants today.

Green Dream Figure sired some.

He sired a large number of get, mostly for Harvey Seidel's Bar Non program.

AMHA #119760

Foaled 4/15/1990, Shoshoni, WY. Bred by SB Enterprises. Pierre died August 20, 2009 in Thermopolis, WY. One of the kindest and easily trained horses I have ever had. He was a good friend as well as a wonderful horse and stallion. He was a smoky black and sired a lot of palomino and buckskin foals. His son, Truwest Silver Suede, is my replacement stallion. Sport Morgans Breeders Ad. Blythewood Vermont Legend. The Morgan Horse Magazine, April 2002

I had his dam for her last years. She was a lovely, deep-bodied, correct, Morgan mare.
It just devastated me when she died birthing a colt for us (uterine artery hemmoroage).
A few of his get bred on for a short while, but it looks like we have lost this blood.

Rusty Walker. 2WF Ad. The Morgan Horse Magazine, April 2002

Upper from TMH
Lower photo of Rusty Walker from the AllBreed site
Rusty's sire, King Pine, was inbred to the good Brunk stallion, Agazizz, being sired by a son of Agazizz and out of a grand daughter of Agazizz. The mares, May Rockwood and Jipsy L, were both bred by Elmer Brown of Kansas and both had the cross of Dude Hudson (Old Midwest Family) to Hazel S (daughter of Headlight Morgan) behind them. The mare, Highwoods Maid, was bred in Montana and was pure Thomas Adams breeding.
The dam of Rusty, Miss Luellen, was a palomino from the Pine Ridge, SD, Indian Agency. Her sire was the very good Red Correll, whose sire was pure Old Midwest Family, and whose dam was bred by Elmer Brown. Behind her was Romanesque, Red Oak, Linsley--all proven sires--and another cross to the cross of Dude Hudson x Helen S.
Rusty Walker had an awesome pedigree.
He competed in shows in various classes.
Rusty was also registered with the PHBA (Palomino Horse Breeders Assoc.) and had 34 registered get.
His son, Lazy Heart D Andy, had 37 registered get in Kansas with some breeding on.
Some of his other get bred on also.

Hot Maple Rum. The Morgan Horse Magazine. April 2002

A nifty pedigree of mostly Brunk and Lippitt, with some Gov't, and a touch of Western Working Family.

In 1959, Robert Riley purchased the Brunk stallion, Warhawk, from George Cross, WY. Warhawk, after being a very important sire for Cross, continued his sire legacy in the Midwest. One of his get while with Riley, was the stallion, Sunday Hawk who sired, among others, AOM's Sunday Magic.
Robert Riley was always helpful and shared his knowledge of Morgan bloodlines.
