His paternal grandsire was from Washington, but had California antecedents. Sonfield spent most of his life in California before going to Washington. Heir's other 3 grand parents were all California breds. 
He sired a few.

He was 50% Lippitt as each parent was 1/2 Lippitt. 
His paternal grand dam was Lippitt, and his maternal grand sire was Lippitt. 
His paternal grand sire was the Gov't stallion, Mansfield 
His maternal grand dam, Lady Helen, was Western Working Family, bred by the L U Sheep Co. Her sire was Plains King bred by the Hiebert Bros. of Kansas. His sire was the Sellman bred Romanesque and his dam was bred by Elmer Brown, Kansas. The dam of Lady Helen was also bred by LU Sheep Co and her sire was bred by Elmer Brown. 
Jackson Mandate had many proven using Morgans behind him. 
He sired many in Canada, many with the Jalna prefix.

Her dam, Sunny, was bred in New York and was out of a Lippitt and High Percent Old Vermont mare. 
Some of the produce of Gracious were:
--UVM Vega, dam for Saralin, Nemours, UVM, & Windhover prefixes.
--UVM Rhapsody, dam for Rapidan and Havenhill prefixes. 
--Rapidan Diplomat, sire of many.

Moro Hill's Marquis. The Morgan Horse Magazine, Nov 1982

 

Note that his name was Moro Hill's Marquis.

He had quite a few get; some of the prefixes he sired for include Shamrock, Ransomvale, Patoka, and more.

Marquis' daughter, Ransomvale Sue Moro, had many produce for Edgewood Morgans. 
Ransomvale Kate also had many for Edgewood. 
The 2022 filly, Brook Hill Temptation, traces back to Marquis.

His daughter, Rohan Elbereth, had produce for Hawk Ridge and Rohan prefix; one of these, Hawk Ridge Elidon, sired for Randallane and other prefixes.

Courtier of Quietude. The Morgan Horse Magazine, Nov 1982


A misspelling of his name. Should be Courtier.
Courtier's sire, Criterion, had Jubilee King sire line, and the rest of his pedigree is Lippitt and High Percent Old Vermont. 
Courtier's dam had a line to Jubilee King and the rest of her pedigree was Lippitt and High Percent Old Vermont with one line to the Gov't Bennington. 
A daughter of Courtier, Brigadoon's Cameo, had a daughter, Early M Dawn, who was dam of Postively's Pride, who now is with Laura Behning and siring for her. 
Brigadoon's Cameo was also dam of Castile's Brigadoon, who sired some for Coachman's prefix.

Bred by Helen Brunk Greenwalt, Rachel Lee and Ella Bar bring in some Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas Western Working Family, and also both have Brunk behind them. 
Bar The Way sired 23 registered get. 
The get include: 
--Orcland Bar B Doll who produced for Bear Brook prefix. 
--Orcland Barmaid had some foals for Maine Lee prefix. 
--Orcland On Broadway was sire of Orcland Sweetheart, who had foals for Tyler's prefix.

Traveler. The Morgan Horse Magazine, Now 1982


His sire was Eastern breeding, Gov't, Lippitt, and Old Vermont. 
His dam was Western Working Family. His dam was bred by W T Carter, of Fresno/Sanger, Calif. Carter bred many Morgans that went into many other's programs. Gold Dollar, sire of Gypsy Allen, was also bred by Carter and his dam was Roland Hill bred and his sire was bred by that early Morgan breeder, Duval Williams, and was pure Sellman breeding. The dam of Gypsy Allen, Peggy Revere, was bred by Nevada rancher, Clark Ringling, and had behind her Gov't and Saddlebred. 
Sire of 53 get. Some of Traveler's get bred on.

Hs daughter, Marvelous Moon Glo, produced for Marvelous Morgans.

He was full brother to HVK Santana but had far fewer get than his better known brother; he had 30 get.
