Gypsey's Jan-ju. The Morgan Horse Magazine. Jan/Feb 1971
Truly a grand Old California pedigree.
He sired a few with a few thin lines nearly coming down to today and one line that made it to today but not likely to go onwards.
Chasley Superman. The Morgan Horse Magazine. Jan/Feb 1971
Sired well over 100 get, with ever so many breeding onwards down to today.
At the above link, click on the Reports on the far left and then click on Progeny. Read that list.
There is no doubt that he had quite the impact on the breed.
Hunt Staff Morgans. Wales Farm Morgans. The Morgan Horse Magazine. Jan/Feb 1971
Note the maternal grand dam, Myrita. Bred in Kansas, she carries the heritage of ranch bred Morgans, including the breeding of Elmer Brown who used the California bred Tehachapi Allan. Myrita was one of the Theis bred mares who went to New England in the group bought by Cecil Ferguson.
Note his line breeding to Ulendon.

There is a full body picture on this link.
His dam, Lucy Ann, had lovely Old California breeding with her dam being by Colorado who was bred by F A Fickert. Lucy Ann's sire was the very good Montabell who was by the very good Mountcrest Sellman.
