Monte Vermont. The Morgan Horse Magazine, Nov. 1971

Bred by Barbara Rovira, CA, Monte was sired by the great Rex's Major Monte, who was bred by TR & Frieda Rex (TR passed away and Frieda later married Frank Waer). Starlite Vermont, Monte's dam, was a daughter of the Brunk stallion, Red Vermont, who sired many good ones in California. The dam of Starlite Vermont, Glowing Comet, was the result of a sire to his own daughter breeding. The two grand dams of Glowing Comet both go to Headlight Morgan and Richard Sellman breeding. Also, Hornett was a granddaughter of the Brunk stallion, Pat Allen.
Monte Vermont sired only 8 registered get.
Two of his daughters bred on a ways.
Monte's Monique was dam of the excellent show mare, Star-vue Cassiopeia along with other produce. Another daughter of Monte Vermont was Monte Vermont's Gigi who had produce that went into Everett Reed's program with his stallion, Gallant King.
