Bay x-05233--(Billy Morgan 6707 x Betty by Pete Morgan 5411) This was some of the high Percent Old Vermont blood that would have been lost without the X Rule. 1935 mare bred in Vt. She had 5 registered foals. Her son Bayfield sired only a few but two were for Kennebec Farm and they bred on for Kennebec.
This is a fascinating old pedigree that shows how some of those breeders in Vermont were hewing to the old blood and the old type, each in their own way.
