This mare, bred by J C Jackson, MT., had a rich pedigree. Her sire was the Gov't bred Fleetfield who did so well for the Jackson Ranch.
Her dam was also Jackson Ranch bred and was by that good Brunk stallion, Ken Carmen. The 2nd dam was by Delbert, bred at the Miles City U S Gov't Livestock Experiment Station. Delbert was used at the Jackson Ranch extensively. He was sired by the upstanding Gov't bred stallion Revere, and was out of a Sellman bred mare.
The 3rd dam was a Chief Bugler daugther, also Jackson Ranch bred.
This was many generations of ranch Morgans.
Falene had 12 foals.
--Kellfleet had 59 registered get and was owned by Mary Lassiter, of Colorado.
--Rhed's Fable, sire. One of his was Fairylady by Rhed who produced for Indiana Morgans.
--Rhed's Hotshot, sire.
A lovely pedigree. But nothing bred on.
Gelding.
